OSB Explorers

Liz, Stu, Phil, Trudy and Tracey came with Tom, Mitch, Seb, Ethan, Pete, David, Evie, Leia, Beth, Rory, Isabel, Rob, David, Callum and Sam and Sam (world famous security guys) from OSB Explorers Rugby have come to KIJ for the first time.

We have done lots of great things here - we went to London on a day trip and didn't get completely lost! We saw the changing of the guards and Trafalgar Square, went on a London bus!

The activity days have been fantastic from huge slides to high ropes, scuba diving to dirt bikes! Beth and Isabel entered the showcase and did the Rugby famous Grease medley choreographed by Beth! Then we had a water day on the beach doing sailing and power boating. It's a Knockout followed with dry and wet games and then our leaders went back in the evening and did sub-camp Knockout and got really soaked at our request. Today is the last day :<( but we are sooo tired it will be good to go home. BUT THERE IS A GREAT PARTY TONIGHT!!!!!!

Archery

Archery is an exhilarating sport. The aim is to hit the bosses (targets) with all 6-12 of your arrows. The instructors are really helpful and do their best to make archery an enjoyable experience.

First they work out if you are left or right eyed, as archery is dominated by the strength of your eyes. Then they choose the correct strength of bow for you. When you are at the bosses they correct your stance and draw. This enables you to hit the target and and hopefully hit gold.

So far I am improving and am able to hit red most of the time.
